Girls weekend

This weekend was a very much needed time of rest, relaxation, connection with friends, and great conversations for me. Two of my best friends are pregnant, and due within one week of each other! While planning a shower for Stacy, we decided to get all the girls together for some girl time. We all met up about a year ago and it was wonderful to reconnect with everyone again. Fox drove down to Nashville and rode down here with me and Brad. Once we got here, Brad sortof disappeared so we could have girl time....he is so wonderful and understanding of how important this is to me! We arrived late Thursday night and woke up on Friday at the Smith Road Bed & Breakfast to mom's homemade blueberry muffins. Our first spot on our agenda for the weekend was pedicures and manicures! The best place in town for a pedicure is up here off Riverstone Parkway and Mom and I frequent it. We loved getting pampered for that short hour we were there.

When Mom first heard about our girls weekend, she asked if she could take Michele and I out to lunch and of course we agreed. The three of us met up with Jamie there, and we all had the most girly lunch imaginable. We went to the classic Tea Leaves & Thyme in downtown Woodstock. We got to pick out hats, gloves, shawls, the works! Here are a few photos of our fun afternoon tea. Not only was the food as good as always, but the laughs were even better!
Jamie did not like this first hat I picked out for her! ha

We always knew there was a prim and proper Fox hiding under all that rockstar facade!

After lunch we met up with Stacy, Steph, and Bekah and went to dinner at Papasitos. Bekah's little pregnant belly was craving mexican! It is always such a fabulous time hanging with these ladies, I just love each and every one of them. I will write more about our weekend soon...
