Every year my fabulously wonderful parents like to take us on a trip either at Thanksgiving or Christmas. In years past we have gone to New York City, last year was Washington D.C., and this year we ended back up at Disney World! The last time we went was 5 years ago, when Ean was one, Spencer wasn't here yet, and Brad and I had just started dating so he wasnt allowed to go. This year, the entire family got to go! Not only was it Spencer's first time to the happiest place on Earth, but it was Brad's first time as well! He only waited 25 years to make it to Disney World. I have been looking forward to this trip for so long, because I knew how much he would love it. He is a big kid afterall, like most men, so I knew it would be a blast. We drove down SUPER early on Wednesday morning, spent the entire Thanksgiving Day at the Magic Kingdom, then Friday we were very ambitious and went to all three of the other parks! Brad, Matt, and I got up earlier than the rest of the family to go to the Animal Kingdom. We then met up with everyone else at MGM, which they now call Hollywood Studios, then ended our day at Epcot. We had such a great time, it was a blast to see the boys have so much fun, and Brad got the turkey leg he was so looking forward to. All was well in the world....well....except for me. As happy as Disney world is....it stresses me out beyond any reasonable comprehension! As my close friends and loyal readers know, I am a very high strung, stressed out individual. I do try, but I am incapable of chilling out.(any suggestions you have on how I could Put that personality in a situation with: a group of 9 people who all want to do different things at different times and cant seem to make a joint decision, crying children at every turn of the sidewalk, the worlds entire supply of monstrous strollers all within touching distance, people stopped in the MIDDLE of the walkway causing everyone to detour around them to continue on course, more obnoxiously large strollers dominating every inch of walking space, and being the fastest walker in our group which causes me to be one of those people that stops in the middle of the sidewalk to look for my lagging family: there is bound to be chaos. I, dear friends, am the chaos. But on top of all the stress I carry, the way things annoy me that shouldn't, and how slow (i think) my family moves...it was a really wonderful trip. I love my parents dearly for taking on such a task as a family vacation. I don't know how they do what they do, or why they do what they do, but the bless us far beyond what any of us deserve. So, a couple of weeks late: I am thankful for a family that: loves despite, laughs because, forgives all, hung the moon.

The World's Best Grandparents!

We stayed at the Pop Century Hotel, very cool.

Look how hard he is concentrating on driving!

Minnie told me that she often feels neglected, because all the attention is on Mickey, I tried to make her feel special.

Cinderella's Castle

Ean making all of the other kids (and grown-ups) jealous of his mad hula hooping skills!

Brad's thanksgiving turkey leg he had been waiting for!

Poor Matt...all alone at the animal kingdom. To all you ladies out there....he has a seat next to him open just for you!

so all of the sudden I had orange hair in this picture.

Prince Caspian

by far, the coolest ride at Disney World! The new Toy Story one, awesome.

Spencer got to meet his hero!

at the end of the day, they let me hop in for a ride...thanks boys!
