Mii wii? let's see...

Brad and I were surprisingly blessed this Christmas with so many amazing things from our families (thank you thank you thank you!!!). One of the things that surprised us was a Nintendo Wii and a Wii Fit sytem. I had played with my parent's Wii on occasion, but had never thought of owning my own. I was instantly excited at the thought of having a Wii simply for the Wii Fit! Brad and I played around with the idea of keeping the Wii, or trading it in on something more practical. We already have SEVERAL video game systems in our house (playstation 2 with all kinds of guitar hero, nintendo 64, an old school super nintendo, and more controllers than one house should ever have) and did not think we wanted to add any more games to our collection any time soon. I know I don't want to be one of those families (no offense if you are one...) that does nothing but video games with their children. We have even talked about eliminating all video games from our house once we have children old enough to play them....Brad may not fully agree with my logic, but at least we have time to figure it out! :) He would obviously miss them more than me...

(this is about a third of our stuff!)

However...I was really intrigued by the Fit and knew I would want to use it to the fullest! So, I packed up the Wii and threw practicality out the window on my way back to Tennessee! I instantly made a promise to myself (and my parents who paid for this game!) to use it for 30 days and see if it made any difference in me physically. I am going to blog about my progress, but may not post some of these until I am further in. So, if you see these posts come up in a week or so- dont be alarmed. I have a plan.
