Given this wonderful season we are in, I will list my 13 favorite things about Christmas.

1. Dad reading Luke 2 to the family.

2. Hearing Linus's version too, and the whole Charlie Brown Christmas.

3. Mint nougat.

4. Stockings, and all the little treasures that hide inside them on christmas morning!

5. Giving; and choosing just the right gifts.

6. The smells: cinnamon, pine, hazelnut.

7. Tacky christmas sweaters.

8. Mistletoe.

9. Carols.

10. Driving around looking at lights.

11. My Birthday....even though this year makes me one year closer to 30...im in my late 20's now...sad

12. Looking at my mom's "angel" Christmas tree. it has photos of us from our first christmas up to now, all in matching frames, its beautiful and embarassing all at the same time. I will carry this tradition on with my family.

13. being around the people I love!
